One Black Falcon Avenue Parking is generally available at the EDIC garage, a five-story, indoor parking facility owned by the City of Boston and operated by EDIC. It is located across from the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. AMPLE PARKING--NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. In the event that long-term parking is not available in the garage, Massport will direct passengers to an alternative parking location when you arrive at the terminal. Note: Cruise passengers pay for parking when entering the garage. Follow signs for cruise parking to a toll booth attendant who will issue a decal to indicate you've paid in advance.
Driving Directions Upon Departure: Proceed
first to Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Drop off luggage and passengers
in the designated areas. Proceed to parking by exiting the Black Falcon
Cruise Terminal, turning left onto Black Falcon Avenue, then right onto
Designer Center Way. The garage is directly across from the Boston
Design Center. Traveling on Interstate
93 North, or the Southeast Expressway, pass through the South Station
tunnel underneath downtown Boston/Chinatown. In the tunnel's right lane
will be an off-ramp for Atlantic Avenue/Northern Avenue. Take this exit,
staying to the right lane. At the top of the ramp travel through the
light onto the Evelyn Moakley Bridge. Follow Seaport Boulevard/Northern
Avenue into the Boston Marine Industrial Park (BMIP). As you enter the
BMIP, take the first right onto Harbor Street and the next left onto
Drydock Avenue. Take the next right (Design Center Place) which will
lead you directly to the terminal. Follow the Mass
Turnpike East (Interstate 90) to the end. When you see signs "Turnpike
Ends", stay to your right and exit at the off-ramp marked "Atlantic
Avenue". Stay right and follow signs for Atlantic Avenue. Continue on
Atlantic Avenue until you reach the James Hook Lobster Company. Just
before James Hook turn right onto the Evelyn Moakley Bridge. Follow
Seaport Boulevard/Northern Avenue into the Boston Marine Industrial Park
(BMIP). As you enter the BMIP, take the first right onto Harbor Street
and the next left onto Drydock Avenue. Take the next right (Design
Center Place) which will lead you directly to the terminal. On the expressway
downtown, inside the Liberty Tunnel, take Exit #23 (Purchase Street). At
the top of the ramp, go to the traffic signal, and turn left onto
Seaport Boulevard. Continue on Seaport Boulevard to the fifth traffic
light (this is where Seaport Blvd becomes Northern Ave). Continue
straight into the Boston Marine Industrial Park, following Northern
Avenue to the end where you take a right onto Tide Street, and an
immediate left onto Drydock Avenue. Follow Drydock Avenue as it turns
right at the end of the Boston Design Center. Turn right again onto
Black Falcon Avenue, traveling straight to the stop sign, where you will
be directed by Port Officers for either passenger drop-off or to the
parking garage. Take I-93 north to
Boston, take (new) Exit 20 to I-90 east/Logan Airport. You will travel
into a new tunnel toward Logan. Inside the tunnel, take Exit 25/South
Boston. At the traffic lights, you will be at Congress Street. Continue
forward onto East Service Drive. At the next signal, turn right onto
Seaport Boulevard. Continue straight onto Northern Avenue and proceed
into the Marine Industrial Park. Continue to the end and turn right onto
Tide Street and an immediate left onto Drydock Avenue. Follow Drydock
Avenue as it turns right at the end of the Boston Design Center. Turn
right again onto Black Falcon Avenue, traveling straight to the stop
sign, where you will be directed by Port Officers for either passenger
drop-off or to the parking garage. Follow the Mass. Pike
east toward Logan Airport. Pass the I-90/I-93 interchange and enter a
tunnel eastbound. In the tunnel, take Exit 25/South Boston. At the
traffic lights, you will be at Congress Street. Continue forward onto B
Street. At the next signal, turn right onto Seaport Boulevard. Continue
straight onto Northern Avenue and proceed into the Marine Industrial
Park. Continue to the end and turn right onto Tide Street and an
immediate left onto Drydock Avenue. Follow Drydock Avenue as it turns
right at the end of the Boston Design Center. Turn right again onto
Black Falcon Avenue, traveling straight to the stop sign, where you will
be directed by Port Officers for either passenger drop-off or to the

Ted Williams Tunnel ($3 toll). From the right lane, take the first exit
– Exit 25/South Boston. At the traffic lights, you will be at Congress
Street. Continue forward onto B Street. At the next signal, turn right
onto Seaport Boulevard. Continue straight onto Northern Avenue and
proceed into the Marine Industrial Park. Continue to the end and turn
right onto Tide Street and an immediate left onto Drydock Avenue. Follow
Drydock Avenue as it turns right at the end of the Boston Design Center.

$8.00 one way $12.00 round trip Wear comfortable, roomy clothing, low-heeled, leather or canvas shoes. Slip-on shoes without ties are also recommended. Bring a note from your physician if you have surgical implants of any type. Proper identification is a must. All adults need either a PHOTO ID issued by a government authority or TWO other forms of identification at least ONE of which must be issued by a government authority. For international
travel, adults and minors will also need a PASSPORT and any necessary
VISAS. All passengers must possess a valid passport or birth certificate
with raised seals and photo identification. Remember that most cruise lines will only accept checked baggage that is presented no later that 30-minutes prior to departure. Pack personal care items (hairspray, shaving cream, deodorant, perfume, etc.) in checked baggage or purchase them on board to avoid delays or confiscation of items. Label luggage, laptops and cell phones to prevent loss during screening. Have medical documentation readily available for syringes or injection devices. Leave gifts UNWRAPPED as security personnel may ask that packages be opened. Avoid carrying or packing white powdery substances. All cameras and film
will be x-rayed. The process will not damage film with an ASA rating of
1600 or below. If concerned, purchase film on-board or at your
destination. Household cleaners or solvents: * at the cruise ships discretion. Flammable liquids or solids. Weapons and firearms, knives, ammunition, gunpowder, mace, tear gas or pepper spray, etc. Dry ice,
gas-powdered tools, wet cell batteries, camping equipment with fuel and
radioactive substances: * at the cruise ships discretion. Limit metal worn on person. Limit electronic devices in carry-on baggage to prevent delays. Remove all laptop computers from case prior to screening. DO NOT bring cutting objects to security screening. YOU MUST carry professionally labeled medication if you intend to transport a syringe or injection device through security. Only ticketed passengers will be allowed beyond checkpoints. Keep identification
accessible as you may be asked to present identification multiple times
prior to boarding. Report unattended packages or baggage to cruise terminal security personnel. Do not joke about security matters. Be prepared for a greater security presence at the port. Be aware other security measures are in place that are not readily apparent. Keep identification and travel documents available for inspection at all times. Be prepared to have baggage and electronic devices randomly inspected as requested.
