We offer information cruise ports in America.  We offer a summary of facts and information about each port and what to expect when your ship is leaving or arriving from these ports.  The Cruise Ports differ and each will have its own flavor and distinction.  Cruises leaving from and cruise departing from Seattle Washington is the main focus of this page.


Port of Seattle is becoming a very popular cruise port and will see almost 200 cruise ships visiting this year. 
Seattle provides convenience to cruise ship passengers sailing to Alaska. New ships and two downtown cruise terminals make sailing out of Seattle an extremely attractive travel option for passengers looking for the convenience of cruising from a U.S. based port.

Norwegian Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruises will depart from the Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal at Pier 66. Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean will homeport at the Terminal 30 Cruise Facility. Both terminals are conveniently located on Seattle's downtown waterfront with easy access to the Airport.  A major gateway for Alaska cruises and cruise to and from Alaska.  Cruises leaving from Seattle and cruise departing Seattle set sail to all parts of the world, but, the Alaska cruise season is their primary itinerary.

Parking and Transportation

Parking at Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal
The Bell Street Pier garage is available to all cruise passengers. Conveniently located directly across Alaskan Way from the cruise terminal, it offers 1,700 spaces of covered, secure parking. Friends and family who pick up or drop off cruise passengers also are encouraged to use the garage while visiting the cruise terminal.

Fee: $12.00 per day. Subject to change without notice.

You may prepay for parking online through Republic Parking at rpnw.com. When you prepay, parking is guaranteed; no reservations needed.

Location: 9 Wall Street. Enter at the corner of Alaskan Way and Wall Street.

25 handicap parking stalls.

No oversize or RV parking is available in the garage. Vehicles must be less than 6'6" high.

Parking at Terminal 30 Cruise Facility

Fee: $12.00 per day. Subject to change without notice.

700 parking spaces are available on-site directly adjacent to the passenger terminal.

Oversize and RV vehicles are welcome.

RV Parking and Oversize Vehicles

The following public parking locations are available for cruise ship passengers who need accommodations for RVs or oversize vehicles.

Thrifty Parking. Pier 48, 101 Alaskan Way South. See map for directions. Cost: $120/week for 18 feet and under, $165/week or $30/day for RVs. Contact (206) 625-0064

RVs and oversize vehicles are also welcome at the new Terminal 30 Cruise Facility. Only the Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal garage cannot accommodate these vehicles.

Taxi Service

Pick-up service to and from the both cruise terminals is available. Taxi service to the airport ranges from $25 - $40 for the approximate 20 - 30 minute drive.

Bus Service/Waterfront Trolley

The Waterfront Trolley is temporarily out of service. A bus currently serves the downtown waterfront and the Bell Street Pier cruise terminal. Get off at the Bell Street stop. For trolley schedule information contact King County Metro.

Independent Coaches

All independent buses need to contact the Cruise Terminal Manager for parking and passenger drop-off information prior to arrival.

Five major cruise lines currently operate weekly service out of Seattle on nine premier vessels. Norwegian Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruises depart from the Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal at Pier 66. Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean depart from the Terminal 30 Cruise Facility. Their schedules appear below.

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises offers seven-day cruises from Seattle to Alaska on the Mercury. Sailings depart Fridays from Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal at Pier 66. Celebrity also offers 3 and 4 day Pacific Northwest itineraries.

Holland America Line (HAL)

Holland America Line offers seven-day cruises from Seattle to Alaska on the ms Westerdam, ms Oosterdam and the ms Zaandam. Holland America passengers depart from the Terminal 30 Cruise Terminal located at the south end of Seattle's downtown waterfront.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)

Norwegian Cruise Line has made Seattle its homeport for seven-day summer cruises to Alaska on board the Norwegian Star and Norwegian Sun. Passengers depart from the Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 on Saturdays and Sundays. For sales information please contact your local travel agent or call (800) 327-7030.

Royal Caribbean (RCCL)

Royal Caribbean offers seven-day cruises to Alaska on the Vision of the Seas departing Terminal 30 every Friday.

Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises offers seven-day cruises from Seattle to Alaska, on board the Dawn Princess and the Sun Princess. Princess Cruises depart Saturdays and Sundays from the Terminal 30 Cruise Facility located at the south end of Seattle's downtown waterfront.
